He was well versed in the style of Slavic liturgical literature. While working on his books, Pakhomiy did not see anything reprehensible in borrowing from other people's works, in repeating himself (especially in introductions), in creating his own editions - by a small revision of the text, mosaic connection and simply supplementing with a preface and afterword of other people's works. The prose works of Pachomius Logofet are usually built according to a clear scheme: preface, main part, conclusion. The prefaces speak of the importance of celebrating feasts or saints.
