A young and successful journalist is preparing to become the editor-in-chief of the Moscow branch of a popular international magazine. However, fate has other plans for him. An absurd accident leads Sergei to the Zone and mentors an experienced veteran stalker. Master lessons are not in vain. Soon, Sergei and his teacher go to Pripyat in an attempt to find their way home. But coming back is always harder than leaving. And even if Sergey manages to find a way to escape from the Zone, will he be able to stay the same, having experienced so many dangerous adventures and learned the incredible secret of Chernobyl, or will new knowledge change him forever and destroy hopes of someday returning to Moscow?
