The military diaries of the famous Soviet journalist Lazar Konstantinovich Brontman, who worked for more than 25 years in the country's main newspaper, Pravda, are published for the first time. From 1942 until the end of the war, Brontman was almost continuously at the front. His business trips cover the entire theater of operations. The author's diary is a unique historical evidence containing many unknown facts about the war, strokes to portraits of commanders and statesmen, details of military life of that time, as well as everyday life of a war correspondent.
