The monograph, involving a wide range of sources, examined the basic concepts of organizing the region's productive forces in the form of territorial production complexes, analyzed the historical experience of creating the Siberian TPK in the Soviet period, assessed state policy for the development of new regions of the region, and identified the role of territorial production complexes in the modernization of the Soviet and modern Russian economy.
