The monograph covers the problem of the attitude of the Russian emigration of the first wave to the famine of 1921, as well as to the activities of the All-Russian Committee for Assistance to the Starving. The book examines the discussions that arose on this issue among the Russian diaspora. Practical measures to help the starving are being studied: the creation of emigrant aid committees, sending food, medicine, things and financial support, propaganda events.
