The book, which is part of the Religions in the 20th Century series, includes essays on those religious cults that do not directly relate to world religions. These are religious beliefs common in the countries of North and South America, Asia, Oceania, Australia, as well as among the peoples of Siberia. For the first time in the scientific literature, traditional and "new" syncretic cults of China and Japan are considered. The current problems of Zoroastrianism, the specifics of modern Judaism are analyzed
