Hellenistic astrology is a tradition of horoscopic astrology practiced in the Mediterranean region from about the 1st century BC to the 7th century AD. It is the source of many modern traditions of astrology that are still flourishing around the world today, although only recently many of the surviving texts of this ancient tradition became available for study by astrologers again.
