Theory and practice of survey and location geodetic works performed during surveys, design, construction and operation of engineering structures are considered. Features of geodetic works in the construction of linear structures are considered, much attention is paid to geodetic support of the transport and construction complex. Modern achievements in engineering geodesy and geoinformatics are highlighted: geographic information and satellite navigation systems and technologies, digital models of terrain and structures.
