Processes of solid materials dissolution in metal melts are considered. Interaction of carbon-graphite materials with metal melts was analyzed. Peculiarities of interaction of modifiers with liquid metal are disclosed. The laws of interaction in the systems "solid metal substrate - metal melt" and "refractory - metal melt" are illuminated.
