Elinor Farjohn (1881-1965) is one of Britain's most widely read and revered storytellers. During her long writing life, she published about 60 books for children and adults. In 1956, she was the first among children's writers around the world to be awarded the H. K. Andersen Gold Medal. Farjeon received a prestigious international award for the collection "Little Library." Fairy tales and stories from the famous collection were included in this book.
