He continues to invent, which immediately makes him a target for competitors and dignitaries who want to remove the upstart away from the throne: God forbid he will claim their piece of cake. Such "well-wishers" arrange another cavern, as a result of which he ends up in a hospital bed. But here, too, the cheerful inventor does not lose time, defends his master's thesis and continues to invent. Leaving the hospital, he remains out of work and is instructed to organize a mission to Abyssinia.
