The purpose of the study is based on the study and analysis of operational and combat documents, memoirs and scientific literature, in particular of a previously closed nature, which reveal military operations on the German-Soviet front during the Second World War, recreate the most complete, undistorted, impartial picture of events, determine the characteristic features and features of the use of the troops of the Ukrainian fronts in offensive strategic and front-line operations of 1943-1944 and give recommendations on the use of acquired experience in military theory, practice of modern military construction, during the training and use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, training and education of military personnel.
