The book of the famous St. Petersburg writer Mikhail German "Paris Details, or Elusive Paris" could be called fascinating, extremely lively and in all respects colorful addition to the recently published book "In Search of Paris, or Eternal Return," if it were not quite self-sufficient. And although it deliberately omits some dramatic and happy pages of a long "Paris chapter" in the author's biography, before the reader in all its splendor appears a kaleidoscope of Parisian details that allow you to see the great city like this, as Mikhail German sees and feels him, it is to see since the author illustrates his story with his own color and black and white photographs, with the help of which, year after year, he sought to stop for us the moments of life of incomprehensible, elusive Paris dear to him.
