At the turn of the millennium, people believed in the most incredible natural disasters that could threaten everything alive on the planet. However, the catastrophe that destroyed human civilization turned out to be man-made. The terrible virus developed by the Nazi, which escaped from military laboratories, killed most of humanity, and turned the rest into bloodthirsty madmen. The world has turned into a post-apocalyptic desert, where a few healthy people who have taken refuge in underground shelters hardly survive... The commander of the army intelligence unit, Captain Alexei Kharitonov, receives an order from the command of his shelter: to pick up the virologist Ivanov, who has important information on antivirus, from the Kremlin bunker, and escort him through dilapidated Moscow, teeming with cannibal mutants, to a secret command post near Ramenki. The task turns out to be not an easy one: too many need a person who may have an antivirus recipe. And too many are ready to use it in a dirty game, substituting their own and trying to pursue their own skin interests.
