The dictionary contains about 30 thousand words of the modern Russian literary language with translations into Persian. A significant place in the dictionary is occupied by socio-political vocabulary and widely used scientific, technical and special terminology. Stable phrases, phraseological units and illustrative examples are given. Particular attention is paid to difficult cases of translation into Persian of various categories of Russian words and syntactic constructions. The dictionary is intended for a wide range of Soviet Iranian, it can also be used by Persian-speaking readers.
