According to our letter, this agreement was preceded by Oleg's campaign against Tsargrad in 907 and the first agreement concluded with them by the Greeks. However, in the authenticity of the izvstіya agreement, some of the scholars are strongly doubted and, thus, the first undoubtedly reliable agreement between the Russians and Greeks should be considered the second agreement of Oleg 911.
