Dmitry Borisovich Deadtago (5.08.1760 - 23.06.1824) - Russian statesman of the late XVIII - early XIX centuries. In 1787-1797, he was an adviser to the Ufa governor's government, then a chiovnik of the provincial department, the Tauride governor (1803-1807), the general provost master (1807-1810), the Moscow governor (1817), senator and privy councilor. D. B. Deadlago was a witness and direct participant in many important events in Russian history: the Pugachev riot, the Russian-Swedish war, and the Patriotic War of 1812. His autobiographical "Notes" vividly and impartially describe the Russian reality of that time, as well as persons who left a mark on Russian history.
