The main goal of the book is to characterize the mechanism of modern international economic relations in the capitalist world, which caused an unprecedented aggravation of the trade war at the turn of the 80s. The book shows the aggressive strategy and tactics of monopolies in the world market, their new offensive means of competition, massive abuses, coercion of partners and veiled robbery. The contradictory role of Western governments in this struggle is considered - forcing exports and curbing imports, sharply exacerbating trade rivalry and turning the clashes of monopolies into a continuous chain of interstate conflicts.
