The book continues the theme of artistic woodworking among the Bashkirs. After the publication dedicated to carving and painting on household items, the author explores the architectural decor. The book presents material collected in ethnographic expeditions for half a century, used literary and archival sources. House carving is considered in development, taking into account decorative local traditions. The monograph is well illustrated.
