The monograph describes a set of algorithmic and hardware-software tools for mathematical modeling of various physical processes and natural phenomena. Particular attention is paid to the problems of low and high temperature plasma physics, nanotechnology (including nanophotonics and nanomaterials) and bioinformatics. The main stages of the modeling process are reflected, including the development of mathematical models and sequential and parallel methods, verification of their adequacy and implementation on distributed computing systems.
