It fell to him to live in an earthly hell, in the numbed Zone, where most people died out from an unknown ailment, and animals and plants turned into monsters. He was a scout officer. But the excess of danger and hatred inside the isolated perimeter made him a lone wolf named Gray. He has almost no friends, but too many enemies. To survive, he is forced to play a double game, provoke bloody battles, fight people and the fiends of enraged nature. He himself did not notice how the Zone connected him with a mysterious thread with the Epicenter, from which disaster spread. Gray is a clue to sinister mysteries both inside and outside the Zone.
