The collection of monographs on the nature of specially protected natural areas of St. Petersburg has been replenished with a new edition - "The Nature of Western Kotlin." The book provides detailed information on the history of the development of the island, landscapes, vegetation, wildlife, as well as anthropogenic processes. The text of the monograph is complemented by original photographs, historical and landscape maps.
