"Walking beyond the Three Seas" - the richest in content and extremely valuable as a monument of literature and language description of a trip to India in 1466-1472. Tveritin Athanasius Nikitin is of considerable interest. This publication aims to acquaint readers with two varieties of "Walking," which characterize two stages of his life: with the full text preserved in the lists of the XVI century, and with the abbreviated text on the list of the XVII century.
