This collection chronologically continues the volumes "Architects of St. Petersburg. XVIII century" and "Architects of St. Petersburg. XIX - beginning of XX century." It covers a period of 70 years, that is, a quarter of the history of the city. This period absorbed the bold innovative searches of the 1920s, the rapid growth of new areas, the feat of the post-war revival of the city and its suburbs. These years gave a brilliant galaxy of masters to whom essays are devoted: Ilyin, Gegello, Trotsky, Fomin, Levinson, Tverskaya, Baranov and many others.
