The book contains a transcript and translation of some unpublished chapters of the text of the Arab historian and geographer of the 1Kh-Kh centuries. Ibn al-Fakih al-Hamadani, The work is based on the Mashhad manuscript of the indicated geographical work. The chapters examined concern mainly Lower Mesopotamia (Iraq). The text in question contains valuable information on the history of hapifat. The book includes a preface that provides information about Ibn al-Faqih, the Arabic deciphered text and its Russian translation, as well as a commentary on it.
