Minutes of meetings of the Commune - an extremely important, but still not the only source on the history of the revolution of 1871. They are the main source in studying the government activities of the Commune, its legislation; to a lesser extent they cover the role of the working masses and mass public organizations in building a new life, revolutionary demonstrations in the provinces, the responses of the advanced public and the ruling circles of other states to the events of 1871 in France.
