The Dictionary contains an essay on the cinematographies of the USSR and foreign countries, theoretical articles, articles on the main problems, types and genres of cinema, creative and biographical articles about its figures and other information (including all-Union and international film festivals), allowing in general terms to present the history and current state of world cinema.
