The collection consists of articles by members of a comprehensive expedition to clarify the place of the Battle of the Ice. The collection includes works covering issues of archeology, hydrology and toponymy of the proposed site of the battle and the surrounding area. In addition, the collection includes articles analyzing in detail Russian and Livonian written sources about the Battle of the Ice.
