The goal of the work is to formulate a reality-relevant image of Russia in Japan, China and Southeast Asia based on data obtained from various sources. The point is not only to conduct a structural analysis of the image of Russia in the East with a definition of its strengths and weaknesses, but also to identify the most effective ways in which this image can be improved, to offer a model for shaping the image of Russia as a strong, peace-loving, fair, authoritative and prosperous power.
