The book presents research on the problem of finding an integral representation and calculating finite and infinite sums (generating functions) that arise in the practice of combinatorial analysis, theory of algorithms and computer programming, probability theory, group theory, function theory, etc., as well as in physics and other areas of knowledge. A general approach to calculating sums (expressions) in a closed form by reducing them to one-dimensional and multiple integrals is most often contoured.
