Alexander Lvovich Duvernois (1840-1886) - Russian linguist, Slavic. He was especially fond of comparative linguistics and Slavic philology, which resulted in his three articles: "On the Origin of the Varangians of Russia," "On the Year of the Invention of Slavic Letters" and "Tübingen Acts of Slavic Printing in Württemberg").
