The behavior of living organisms is the subject of research in many sciences, each of which studies special aspects of behavior. This circumstance, as R. Hein notes in the preface to his book, does not allow us to unambiguously define the concept of "behavior." However, for many areas of research, including neurophysiology and psychology, bringing in the most general terms can be defined as the relationship between the body and the environment. Therefore, the study of behavior should include the analysis of the environment, and processes within the body, and the interaction of the body with the environment.
