The textbook sets out the basics of the general theory of cooperation of all types and the private theory of consumer cooperation. In the history of consumer cooperation in Russia, three stages are clearly distinguished - pre-revolutionary, Soviet, modern. At the same time, a significant place is given to the practice and problems of domestic consumer cooperation in the context of market transformations. The participation of the country's consumer cooperation in the national and international cooperative movement is highlighted.
