The book is, as it were, a continuation of the collective monograph "Physics of High-Temperature Plasma," published by Mir Publishing House in 1972. This book includes 5 reviews from the 3rd and 4th volumes of the series "Successes of Plasma Physics," published in the USA under the editorship of famous physicists A. Simon and W. Thompson. These reviews cover the following problems: 1) movement charged particles in strong magnetic fields; 2) relativistic beam equilibrium; 3) collective modes of plasma oscillations in complex magnetic configurations; 4) double-bundle instability; 5) kinetic theory of waves in plasma. All reviews were written by major foreign scientists, leading specialists in these areas of physics. The collection is of interest to scientists involved in plasma physics, problems of controlled thermonuclear fusion, accelerator technology, the development and use of various plasma devices. It can also be useful for senior students and graduate students of the corresponding profile.
