The book explores the scientific, pedagogical, cultural and educational activities of the Moscow professor in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. The work was carried out on the basis of an analysis of the system of value orientation, socio-psychological attitudes and the organization of everyday life of the Moscow professorship, as well as the traditions of communication and interaction in the interpersonal and sociocultural space of Moscow during this period of time.
