The book is devoted to the history of Orthodox monasteries in Crimea and covers a wide time frame of the 8th - early 20th centuries. The main attention is paid to the period of revival of the monasteries at the initiative of Archbishop Innocent in the second half of the 19th century. At the same time, the problems of approving the Christian church on the peninsula are considered.
