"History of Persian Literature" tells about one of the most brilliant and famous literatures of the East, about schools, styles and genres of Persian literature. The author pays special attention to various philosophical schools and teachings, since they largely determined the content of literary works. The book explores the beginning of literary life in Iran and the main periods of development of Persian literature. Separately, the stylistics of Persian poetry (Khorasan, Iraqi, Indian and other styles) and the work of poets who worked in these styles are considered; along with the famous authors (Rudaki, Hafiz, Jami, Rumi, etc.), we are talking about authors little known to the Russian reader.
