The book about the Apostle Andrei, by definition, cannot be similar to other books published in the ZhZL series - after all, we know absolutely nothing (or almost nothing) about the apostle, the first called by Christ. Therefore, the attention of readers is offered not the usual biographic narrative about him, but a novel in which the life of the apostle is the subject of scientific search and fierce debate taking place in different historical eras - both at the beginning of the 9th century, and in the 10th century, and today. Who was called by Christ to the apostolate together with Andrew? What happened to him after the events described in the New Testament? What did the lost "Acts of Andrew" tell about?
