The book is dedicated to the art of church copper casting - crosses and icons. It examines the symbolism, the foundations of the prevailing iconographic and figurative structure of these shrines. Some information regarding the production of castings is given. At the same time, emphasis is placed on revealing the spiritual content of cast crosses and icons. Considering the works of Russian masters as shrines intended for prayer communion with God, the author was guided by Orthodox dogma. At the same time, the main focus is on the main image - our Lord Jesus Christ. The use of theological material, information in the field of art history, a large number of illustrations make the book interesting for a wide range of readers.
