The book is devoted to the theory of collective electromagnetic oscillations of a homogeneous plasma. From a single point of view, the theory of both high-frequency and low-frequency plasma vibrations is presented and the main fundamental applications of this theory are given. Both small and finite amplitude oscillations are considered. The book begins by outlining general methods for describing plasma. Low-frequency magnetohydrodynamic waves and magnetohydrodynamic breaks are considered and the theory of evolutionarity of magnetohydrodynamic shock waves is presented.
