The monograph is devoted to the problems and achievements associated with the creation and practical use of autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles for ocean exploration and development. The main foreign and domestic deep-sea vehicles are presented and the experience of the Institute of Problems of Marine Technologies of the Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of underwater robotics is summarized.
