The publication of the book of the Odessa Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich of the cadet corps aimed to leave for the edification of the military offspring of the State of Russia a truthful, accurate, clear idea of ​ ​ the upbringing and way of life in the Imperial cadet corps, nurseries of future officers of the Imperial Russian Army. The book is the collective work of 105 cadets in exile of all issues: 14 Odessa and 5 foreign in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, who preserved in their internal communication the covenants and traditions of their native Odessa corps and continued to unofficially record Odessa issues.
