The book "Weapons of the Peoples of the Caucasus" is the first complete definition of Caucasian edged and firearms. The publication has no analogues, both in the domestic and foreign book markets. The manufacture of weapons has long been one of the most important crafts of the peoples of the Caucasus. Brave warriors, Caucasian highlanders did not part with their weapons, highly appreciated them and did not spare funds for their decoration. Guns became part of their national costume. The subtle art of the gunsmiths of Cherkessia and Dagestan, Georgia and Armenia and other Caucasian peoples has always been admired. The arts and crafts of the Caucasus attract constant interest of readers. Many monographs have already been published on the applied art of the peoples of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Transcaucasia, etc. Such an important section of folk art as the manufacture of weapons deserves separate consideration
