The book of the former was published in Harbin in 1942 and is almost unknown, and the memoirs of the latter are published for the first time. Both authors describe in vivid and vivid language the events of which they were eyewitnesses. Their memories contrast with some of the speculation that exists around the life and work of Baron Ungern. A number of photographs related to this topic are put into circulation.
