In the early 1960s, Michel Foucault wondered who were insane and how attitudes towards them had changed throughout history. The result of these reflections was a fundamental work on the history of psychiatry and the author's slight suspicions that the science of the insane has always been in the service of the state. And if so, can it be called science? Throughout the history of mankind, not those who are sick, but those who are inconvenient to the state were called insane. The more thought, the more likely it is that the fact of the presence of thoughts will be used as an argument at the appointment with a psychiatrist.
