The book presents the results of research work to assess the functioning of the housing and communal services of the municipality (on the example of the city of Vologda). Particular attention is paid to the study of the state of the housing stock and communal infrastructure, the formation of tariffs for housing and communal services to the population, as well as tariff regulation. Based on a questionnaire survey of the heads of the city's management companies, the features of housing management and the organization of resource conservation are disclosed.
