Panagiotis Nellas (1936-1986) - a major Greek theologian and religious thinker. Most of his research is devoted to Nicholas Kavasila, the famous Byzantine mystic and theologian of the 14th century, canonized by the Greek Church. "Adoration" is one of the main works of this ascetic scientist, the fruit of a deep theological synthesis, in which patristic thought correlates with modernity and abstract, seemingly theological doctrines turn out to be relevant in the life of a Christian, giving it deep meaningfulness and rootedness in church Tradition. Adoration, unity with Christ, which is the goal of Christian life, is considered by the author comprehensively, in the context of the great theological tradition of the Orthodox Church.
