The book is devoted to the analysis of a number of fundamental problems of biophysics, the object of which is living systems. The first part of the monograph sets out a brief history of biophysics, considers the basic concepts and laws of thermodynamics and statistical physics, describes the great paradoxes of physics, the analysis of which is of fundamental importance for understanding the essence of some of the most important problems of biological physics.
