Philipp Heinrich Dilthey; 1723-1781) - the first professor of law at Moscow University, representing the entire law faculty of this university for the first 10 years. At the establishment of Moscow University, Diltey was invited to Russia, under a special contract, with a salary of 500 rubles, to give lectures on jurisprudence, which he continued almost until his death in 1781, with a break of one year caused by misunderstandings with his superiors; the alleged resignation of Dilthey was canceled by the empress's own decree. Dilthey was an outstanding lawyer of his time and an energetic worker in the field of literature.
