The monograph examines the basic laws of fatigue failure of metal materials, taking into account modern achievements of metal physics and fracture mechanics. Periodicity and stages of fatigue damage accumulation process in periods of fatigue cracks initiation and propagation are analyzed. Theories of endurance limit and influence of various factors on cyclic strength are considered.
